Prayer flags express compassion at this monument to fallen climbers, at Annapurna South Base Camp (ABC, at 13,550 feet elevation) in the Annapurna Range of Nepal. Annapurna I (center right; 26,545 feet elevation) is the world’s 10th highest peak.
